Dr Moses-Akis Lambrou, MD is Director and Clinical Head of the Department of Neurosurgery. He is a graduate of the University of Thessaly Medical School, Greece. He performed his Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery in the Hellenic Red Cross Hospital in Athens and consequently he completed his Fellowship as Neurosurgery Registrar in University of Cambridge, Addebrooke’s Hospital and Morriston Hospital Swansea in UK. He joined the Nicosia General Hospital as a First Class Neurosurgery Officer and he is currently the Director and Clinical Head of the Department of Neurosurgery. His research interest include advanced life support in head trauma. He has delivered significant number of invited lectures at local and International Conferences while his teaching experience includes supervision of the NGH-Neurosurgery Residency Program and organization of the Neurosurgery Clerkships for the University of Cyprus Medical School, University of Nicosia-St. George Medical School and the European University of Cyprus Medical School.
