Dr Androula Papastylianou, MD/PhD is a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at the Nicosia General Hospital. She is a graduate of the University of Crete Medical and a Registered Anaesthesiologist and Intensive Care Specialist. She did her Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in both Anaesthesiology and Intensive care at the Evangelismos Hospital, University of Athens Medical School where she also conducted her PhD thesis on the role of combination therapy on recovery after cardiac arrest. She joined several Intensive Care Units in both Greece and Cyprus and she contributed to the establishment of the ICU at the Western Attica General Clinic. She currently serves as a Consultant at the Nicosia General Hospital ICU. She is an ALS and EPLS instructor and holds a Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology (CEEA) and Advanced Trauma Life Support diploma. She has attended multiple continuous medical education seminars and courses on anaesthesiology and critical care.
